According to monitoring data of APK-Inform news agency, this week on the Kazakhstani market there is growth of prices for fodder barley. The situation is caused by the deficit of barley offers on the background of restraint of sales by agrarians.
As of December 18, demand prices for barley are voiced in the range of 52-58 th. tenge / t, which is an average of 6 th. tenge / t higher than last week's prices.
Also, a similar trend is fixed on the export market. The situation is caused by a number of factors: devaluation of national currency, reduction of barley supply from RF and high demand from top importers.
Thus, offer prices are fixed in the range of 178-181 USD/t FOB-Aktau against 170-175 USD/t on the same conditions a week earlier.
